DIY: Teeth Whitening System

What's the first thing people notice about  a person? Studies say, their smile. How straight and how white someone's teeth are make an impact on someone you're speaking to. Due to this, people are often struggling to find cheap and easy ways to whiten their smile. People don't realize it, but they are exposed to staining their teeth everyday. Coffee, wine, fruits, and vegetables are known to damage enamel on the teeth. Professional teeth whitening can cost up to five thousand dollars and at home kits range from thirty to six hundred dollars.Of course, someone found a much easier way to achieve a whiter smile at home, using simple house products.

Ingredients:
  • baking soda
  • toothpaste
  • water
Directions:
     1. Put a small amount of toothpaste in a cup, followed by one teaspoon of baking soda and water.
     2. Mix the two ingredients together with a half of a teaspoon of water.
     3. Thoroughly mix the products together until it has the consistency of a paste.
     4. Brush your teeth with the product for two minutes.
     5. Continue treatment twice a week until your desired results have been reached. *Once aspired shade of white has been reached, reduce the treatment to once or twice per month.
If done too often, this treatment will wear down the enamel on your teeth and make you more susceptible to cavities. So while you may have a white smile, you’ll also have a mouth full of sensitive teeth and cavities, which may actually be worse than a little discoloration. Fortunately, while following these steps, without overdoing it, you will be able to easily whiten your teeth, while saving hundreds on the cost of professional whitening treatments.

DIY Egg Facial

Notice that your face is looking dull and tired? Does it need a little pick me up? You can fix that in thirty minutes at home. All you need is an egg!

Directions:
     1. Crack open an egg on the side of a small bowl. Make sure to keep the yolk of the egg inside the shell, only allowing the whites of the egg to go into the bowl. The yolk of the egg contains oil-- exactly what your skin doesn't want. The reason it looks dull or droopy is because there may be excess oil in your pores. Adding more oil would make it worse.
     2. Begin beating the egg with a fork. Continue to mix it vigorously until it becomes slightly frothy or until a couple of bubbles appear on the surface. This will make sure that all of the vitamins and minerals in the egg are mixed thoroughly throughout the substance.
     3. Refrigerate your mixture. Keep it in the refrigerator for at least ten minutes. If you're in a hurry, stick it in the freezer for five minutes.
     4. While you wait for your mixture to become cold, wash your hands thoroughly. You want to rid as much oil and dirt from your fingers as possible. This will prevent from more of those bad things from going into your pores and causing acne or discoloration.
     5. Pull your hair away from your face. This can simply be done with a clip or a hair tie. Whatever you choose to use, make sure your hair is completely away from your complexion.
     6. Remove your product from the refrigerator or freezer.
     7. Dip your fingers into the bowl of the mixture and begin applying it to your skin. Make sure to spread the product evenly, focusing on places like your forehead and nose, also known as your "T-zone." Oil accumulates quickly in these places and this mask will draw the product out of your skin.
     8. Allow the mask to settle into your skin for twenty minutes. This will give the mask enough time to seep into your pores and remove any of the oil.
     9. Remove the product with warm water and pat it dry with a towel or washcloth.
